This collection is all about spontaneity, fun, and celebrating the natural world.  I share this work in hope of inspiring lighthearted joy, appreciation, and enthusiasm for the abundant beauty of the amazing world we live in.

These pieces typically begin by having my young children help me create a loose, brush stroke and texture filled underpainting.  This process adds an exciting dose of energy and playfulness to the work.  These paintings often utilize varied contour lines, energizing color, and a variety of textures in the abstracted plants, animals, and landscapes that are portrayed.  While inspired by observation and experiences, the subject matter is ultimately reimagined to share a positive feeling.
