Publications & Features

My artwork and creative practice occasionally extend beyond the canvas through books, interviews, and collaborative projects. These experiences bring visual imagery into conversation with poetry, storytelling, and reflection, allowing the work to live in new contexts and reach readers in meaningful ways.

Poetry & Image Collaboration

For The Wounded by Mer Monson

Several of my paintings were selected to accompany the poetry in For The Wounded, a contemplative collection by poet Mer Monson. The pairing of visual imagery with poetry creates a quiet dialogue between image and language, inviting readers into spaces of reflection, vulnerability, and healing.

I am grateful to have my work included in a project that honors the depth of human experience and the ways art and poetry can speak to one another.

Children’s Book

The Lonely Red Line

I wrote and illustrated The Lonely Red Line originally for my own children as a playful way to introduce the magic of color mixing. Through a simple visual story, the book explores how colors interact and transform while also gently touching on themes of individuality, connection, and belonging.

The book was created as a joyful teaching tool, inviting children to discover how new colors emerge through curiosity and creative exploration.
