This painting notions to a hopeful journey.  Some may see a representation the Parable of the 10 Virgins, others may liken this to refugees seeking home or those searching for a better way.  Regardless of the story, this imagery carries a message of hope and light amidst the unknown and uncertain darkness.

“Pilgrimage” is an original, one of a kind acrylic painting, by Darcy Lee Saxton. It was painted with high flow acrylic paints on a 8x10 inch canvas. The painting has a high gloss finish as it has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is framed with a polyurethane-coated pine strip, and gives the final painting just over 1-1/4 inches of depth.

The painting is ready to hang and love! From my hands to yours. Signed on the front and signed, titled, and dated on the back.
