Rising

This painting is about collaboration, support, connection and love. The piece notions to a sisterhood, wherein all are unavoidably connected, referencing the divine and infinite. The circle, which the women together create, alludes to an opening of the heavens, whereby divine energy is accessed and brought forth. There is giving and receiving, and all are equally blessed for the exchange. By lifting one another, all are “Rising” in the process.

This was on of four large pieces themed around the feminine which were commissioned for a salon in Portland, Oregon.
