Unfurling

“UNFURLING” – A 30×40-inch acrylic on canvas exploring emergence, becoming, and the unfolding of what has been forming within. Unfurling considers the moment when something once held inward begins to open, expand, and take its place in the world. It is a meditation on the space between what we have been and what we are becoming.

Deep blues and turquoise create a sense of depth and inner knowing, while rose, violet, and warm gold move through the painting with the energy of transformation, connection, and possibility. Layered forms seem to open and recede at once, revealing passages of color and movement beneath the surface. Threads of light move through the composition, drawing the eye inward and outward, as if the painting itself is in the process of becoming.

Unfurling invites reflection on the parts of ourselves that are ready to emerge. What has been gathering within us? What becomes possible when we allow it to take form?
